* What's your Favorite Makeup Look???

Hmm, I usually stick to colors that best compliment my eye color, so pinks, golds, greens, purple!!! My fav look is shimmer shadows, a goldie shimmer look, and or smokey eyed look! :)

* What part of your Body do you Love??

I like my shoulders and my cheekbones!!!

* Who is your beauty Icon??

I can't say that I really have a 'Beauty Icon'! There are quite a few girls I look to in terms of fashion. Definitely, Gwen Stefani, The Dash Girls, Nicole Ritchie, Rachel Zoe, etc. I love to read Fashion Mags, so I get a lot of ideas and tips from them :)

* What Beauty Product makes you Feel instantly Good???

Umm, probably my concealer and powder, as soon as that's on I feel better..lol!!! Then other then that, eyeliner because I feel sooo naked without anything on my eyes, so eyeliner, mascara, OH and Self-Tanner when I have a self-tanner on I feel much better as well. I hate to look pasty white!! When I look tan, I feel much better about myself :)

* How do you look after your skin??

I wash my face w/ Neutrogena Acne Skin Solutions Face Scrub, then apply their Acne Control Lotion, then apply Philosophy's 'Hope in a jar' moisturizer all over my face, and SSC(Serious Skin Care) C-Eye Cream. That's my daily skin routine!!! I don't do a mask often enough. I definitely need to do them more!!!

* What is your Signature Scent!!??

My ALLLL time favorite scent it 'MISS DIOR CHERIE' by Christian Dior!!! OMG I want to bathe in it. I want to hook up lil sprayers in the vents in my house and have it pumping through at all times..lol!!! Seriously, you guys it's ammmaziing!!! I'm sooo sad because I'm out of it and have been for a while, and unfortunately its not cheap :( So, I usually only get it on special occasions :((( Other then that I LOVE Escada's Tropical Perfume line...'Marine Groove'..'Rockin Rio' ...'Sunset Heat' ...'Pacific Paradise'...those all smell amazing!!! And also at Victoria Secret I always wear their lotion in the 'Pure Seduction'..my all time fav :)

* What's your hair care secrets?

The one thing I do that I believe has really helped my hair is that I don't ever really put any heat on my hair. I only will use a curling iron ever so often, I NEVER use a flat iron!!! I always use Argan Oil mixed w/my conditioner as well as before I blow dry my hair, I use a leave in conditioner, Argan Oil, and TreSemme Heat Tamer Spray all before using the blow dryer and I use a defuser so the heat doesn't get too close to my hair!!!

* How do you pamper yourself?

Ummmmm, wellllll..lol!!! I don't know. I've never gone to a salon or spa and gotten a facial or anything. I haven't had a professional massage in years!! Hmm..I guess ever so often I go and get a pedicure with my Mom and Sis. It's not very often I usually just paint my own toes and nails, but it's a nice treat to go have it done professionally :)

* Finally How do you have a Beauty Philosophy??

I don't really have a 'Philosophy'...Just that to me beauty comes from within!!! You can meet a GORGEOUS girlor guy, but if they're a mean/rude/bitchy/egotistical person then it makes them the ugliest person ever to me!!! So, I believe beauty comes from within, people who are sweet, sympathetic, kind-hearted, warm, giving and friendly are the most beautiful people in the world!!

Yummy Healthy Treat!

Hey guys!!!

If you're looking for a healthy, non-fat tasty treat to beat the heat this summer, head to pinkberry :)

I absolutely LOVE Frozen Yogurt, and yes there are sooo many different places to choose from these days, since Froyo has become such a trendy thing, but hands down the healthiest I have found has been pinkberry, mostly because of their portion control.

A lot of Frozen Yogurt places now have a 'serve yourself' type of thing going on. Which don't get me wrong its F-U-N!! You can leave with as much froyo, and as many toppings as you'd like, but in the end you mine as well just go get yourself an ice cream sundae, because it's going to equal just as many calories and fat!!! So, keep in mind portion control is key at these 'serve yourself' frozen yogurt joints :) My new fav 'serve yourself' froyo place is 'Yogurtland'. I always get the smallest cup they offer and I always get the non-fat, sugar-free Pecan n Pralines yogurt, and I only fill the cup about half way if even that, and I usually skip out on the toppings, if I do go for toppings I usually will go for fruit or yogurt chips, but all in all when it comes to me needing to keep those pounds away I always hit up my local pinkberry. I get a small cup, and I always get their 'original flavor' it is only about 100 calories and it's fat free, and if I do get toppings it's fresh strawberries :) Here is their link below. Wishing...

So, I'm sitting here drinking my coffee, and working, all while waiting to hear back from our realtor!!! You guys, I want to move out of here soooo badly!! We(bf & I ) NEED more space. I feel like a caged animal here sometimes..lol!! Plus, once we move, I'll be able to get a fur baby :) I can't wait to get a dog. I've been wanting a dog of my own for sooo long. Now, we have to wait until we move out because I want a BIG guy :) I'm an animal lover period, but I LOVE BIG breeds. So, I want my pup to be able to have as much room as he can to roam around,

and yes as you can tell I keep referring to my pup as a 'he' :) I'd really like to get a male. They're easier to deal with in terms of bigger breeds, from my experience. I'll post a pic below of the puppy I want to get. It makes me smile just thinking about it :) And even better yet, my sister is soo excited to watch him whenever the BF and I are gone traveling, secretly I think she wants to kidnap my dog.lol!!! Just kidding, she always says...'hmm, well I'm not too sure I'm going to give him back'..lol! She is a HUGE dog lover as is my Mom as well. I've mentioned before they both have dogs, Laker(Moms) and Daisy(Sis) those are their kids :) Anywho, ok I'm going to stop rambling on. Fingers crossed that we find a place soon...and that our agent gets back to us with some good news :)

M.I.A.

Wow, have I ever been MIA!!! It's been so long since I've blogged. I actually missed it :) There has just been so much going on lately. June and July were hard months for me, being as that in June was my 1st bday without my Dad, my Dad's bday a week after, and then Father's Day, ugh!!! All 1st's since his passing. Then came July...the dreaded 'July'!!! I lost my Dad July 22, 2009! So, it was the year anniversary of his death. Those 2 months are reallllly hard. Last year, on Father's Day my Dad was taken to the ER and never left the hospital, that's where he remained until his passing on 7/22. The weeks, days, minutes, up til that point were...well....there are no words that can ever explain what it was like. They are memories I try everyday to shake off and out of my head!!! So, needless to say guys times have been tough for me, and throw in the mix getting sick, battling vertigo, and as always dealing with stupid computer problems!!! Oh, how I just love those roadblocks!! And you know what?...I still look back at these last couple of years and can't BELIEVE that myself and my family actually made it through. No one can ever prepare you for those things, but I do have to say it makes you stronger, and it definitely showed me that as for myself, Mom, and Sister...we don't know our own strength! I remember sitting with my Mom and Sister hours after my Dad died and my Mom just kept saying, 'I can't do this. I can't do this, I don't know how I'm going to do this'...and here we are a year later and we did it!!! I've met so many wonderful people on YouTube who unfortunately share in the same tragedy, or have lost their Mom, Dad, Brother, or Sister, and it just breaks my heart to hear their stories. I'll never understand why, I try not to ask myself that question, because I know I'll never get the answer. I just have to try to remain positive and be thankful for what and who I do have. I just can't stress enough to people, make every moment count, don't take your loved ones for granted, tell them you love them, SHOW them you love them, tomorrow is never promised. Live for today~

A great inexpensive alternative to NARS Orgasm blush!

Ok, so my ALL TIME fav blush is, NARS 'orgasm'! I've worn it for years and love it, but I have found a cheaper alternative :)

Now, this doesn't mean I'm going to stop wearing NARS, but if I ever want or need to spend less, then I KNOW this stuff is just as good ;)

It's by 'elf Cosmetics'! It's their 'Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder' in the color, 'Blush/Bronzed'.

TRESemme Heat Tamer Spray

So, for some reason I have NEVER in my life used a heat tamer spray. I guess I just never thought about it, or thought I needed it! Which, duh...of course I do!LOL!

I have color-treated hair, blowdry it, and curl it every once in a while.

So, I finally tried it and I LOVE IT!!!!

The one I tried is by, 'TRESemme"

It worked great. I have very fine hair, and can't use anything that weighs my hair down. This product did not, it was amazing and it smells delish! Even on Day 2 after washing my hair and using it, my hair seems softer then it usually is, which I'm pretty stoked about :)

So, if any of you are looking for a good heat tamer spray that's inexpensive, I got mine at Wal-Mart for I think it was $3.84, what a bargain and its a nice size bottle too!!!!

Anywho, go grab one or two..hehe! It's awesome.

My Saturday Night!

Well, the bf made it home from the airport, he's exhausted! So, we decided to stay in and I made dinner! I made him Capellini Pomodoro :) It's one of his fav's that I make. And yes, I made it JUST for him, I almost never eat what I cook.lol! It's not that it's not good because omg its delish, I take lil bites to make sure all the ingredients are right, or if it needs anything else added, but when I'm done cooking I'm just not hungry...lol! I usually just serve him his food and I'll either grab a lil something quick for myself or just start washing the dishes and cleaning up! Am I the only one who does this?? Comment me and let me know if I'm the only one. :)

So, we also watched the Laker game! Which was terribly disappointing! We're HUGE Laker fans! I LOVE BASKETBALL!!! But this game was horrible, it's like hellllo what were you guys thinking?!?..ugh Needless to say, we lost!..SUCKS!

So, now I'm just chillin in bed with him bloggin :)

I think we're gonna catch up on our shows too that we didn't get to watch this week, Smallville being one of them. I never watched that show until we started dating. He totally got me into it, as well as 'Lost' and 'Heroes'! I really just never had time for T.V.(long story that will come later) :)

I'm reallllly craving sweets tonight, so I had a Special K Protein Bar for dinner..lol! I wanna go hit up the pinkberry down the street...omg that would be so good, but I don't want to deal with the crowd. Our pinkberry is connected to a BIG outdoor/shopping center! Being that it's Saturday it's going to be sooo busy and we won't be able to find parking annnnnd we'll have to pay to park which is soooo everywhere in L.A, but don't want to have to deal with that tonight. So, I guess no pinkberry.lol! My sister sent me a pic of the banana bread she just baked, OMG it looks so good. Too bad she's over an hour away from where I live oooooor I'd be over at her house hoovering some bread.lol!
